With all of the craziness going on in the world, I am taking some time to do some family history work. I scanned some Frederick family photos given to me a few years ago by my 1st cousin 1x removed. I am also still working on transcribing letters written to my Great Aunt Lorraine as part of my “Letters to Lorraine” series on my blog. Our local library is offering free access to Ancestry.com. And Ancestry has some freebies, too! I found my Grandpa Kenneth Frederick’s WWII draft registration. There is also FamilySearch.org with has MILLIONS of FREE documents. So what are you waiting for!? If you are stuck at home it’s time to start discovering your past.
What are you working on right now?! Have you made any amazing discoveries about your family? Share them in the comments section below or comment on this post on my Facebook page.
Stay Safe & Stay Healthy!
